One of our customers did and reached out because the deck around their pool was starting to sag. Once we got underneath, the real problem showed itself: the entire wooden post and beam system supporting the deck was failing. The structure had deteriorated so badly that it was beginning to collapse onto the pool equipment. A project that started as a sagging deck turned into a full structural rescue—one that will keep the pool area stable and usable for years to come.

We were originally called out to look at a gutter issue on the back side of a home. Once we got up there, it was clear the problem was much bigger than the gutters—the wooden soffit and fascia had been damaged by years of water intrusion and needed a full rebuild. This was a second-story repair, so we brought in scaffolding and a three-man crew to handle the work safely and efficiently. What started as a basic inspection turned into several days of structural rebuilding, replacing compromised wood, correcting the underlying issues, and installing new fascia and soffit materials that will hold up for years to come.
Fix It By Luke was called out to a Home Depot where several parking corral posts had been hit and pushed out of alignment. Instead of replacing the entire setup, we used a simple, practical approach to bend them back into place. We hooked up a Ford Ranger with a tow strap and carefully pulled each post back to its original position. It’s not complicated work, but it’s the kind of real-world problem solving we deal with all the time—finding a safe, cost-effective fix that gets things working again without unnecessary replacements.
A homeowner was dealing with birds sneaking into their covered back patio and leaving a mess behind. Instead of going with standard vinyl soffit, we upgraded the entire ceiling using primed and painted 4×8 beadboard panels. This approach not only blocks the birds from getting in, but also adds a more polished, custom look to the space. The result is a brighter, cleaner, and more finished patio that feels like a natural extension of the home.
